Greetings Competitors!

Fleming College: School of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, located in Lindsay, Ontario is pleased to announce our 34th Annual LOGGERSPORTS Competition on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 8:00 A.M. Please consult www.cilawoodsmen.ca for competition rules and other information regarding (CILA) Canadian Intercollegiate Lumberjacking Association. It is imperative that you review these rules prior to the competition.

The competition fees are as follows:

$400.00 CND per team  Plus HST – $452.00     

Please make cheques payable to Fleming College. Registration fees include; breakfast and lunch on Saturday, competition wood, CILA officiating and awards.

 

Team participation confirmation must be completed by Friday, October 21st, 2016 using CILA registration and eligibility forms available at: www.cilawoodsmen.ca.

Competition fees are due on or before the Captain’s Meeting: 8:30pm-11:00pm Friday, November 4th, 2016.

Echo sponsors all CILA events and we would ask that all non CILA teams stop by Echo Booth for giveaways and to check out the latest Echo has to offer.

The Captain’s Meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 4th 2016 at 8:30 P.M. in room 250, located in the campus’s main building. Please feel free to contact us should you have any questions or concerns.  Good Luck at the competition.

Loggersports competitors will be required to provide personal College / University photo Identification to confirm full time student status. The Head Judge will be randomly checking throughout the competition

Fleming College is pleased to be hosting The Kris Starr Annual Alumni Event on Saturday November 5, 2016 start time 4:00pm following the main competition. Main Alumni Events include relay event, underhand chop, Standing Chop, Spring Board Chop, Single Buck.  No Charge. Must register prior to event. Bring your own gear to compete.
